George Graves

I am simply a follower of the Real Jesus Whom tells us about the Real Father, Whom as the genuine Spirit of Truth that tells us how to love & like everyone in the realm of how THEY do!

Sure, I am passionate about many things, but here is on a thumb nail sketch:  One is convinced that it is "A tragedy and usually a sin, do do what others can do can do, while leaving undone what  only you can do!"

Other window to my soul are:

-Getting to be the spouse (since 1981, partner, & bodyguard to my amazing woman of my dreams- Melanie!

-She gave me two amazing kids-- Grant & Brittany.

-They brought into my life their Riley (Grant's wife) along with Billy (Brittany's husband).

-They have blessed us with 3 granddaughters:  Libby, Sophie, and one whose name is not official yet!

- Being a family physician and being privileged to try and assist people in their total health

-Being passionate about introducing folks to MASTERmind / brain synergy teams that compliment their life

-Having meaningful interactions with the neat people I have divine appointments with.

-Hitting tennis balls, preferably with people and now with my new legal double handled tennis racquet "The Natural Tennis" -- http://www.naturaltennis.com/why-2-handles/

- more to come as time permits!

Whom are my readers and fellow pilgrims on this earth that is going to recreated soon by the Real Jesus?

My son Grant & I are working on a project that showcases God's amazing love & vulnerability that cuts through the Enemies lies.   Eager to get your thoughts and feedback on it.  It is a one page relay!

Enjoy!

God's Hands

When someone says, "God loves you," what do you think?  Do you huff and say, "He loves me if I'm good," or, "He will love me if I quit sinning," or, "He loves me if I love Him back, but if I don't He will burn me in hell,"?
If those are your thoughts then you probably want nothing to do with that cruel manipulator who calls himself god.  You know true love is not conditional or threatening.
But what if you learned that God loves you even when you are bad, that He loves you while you are sinning, that if you choose to reject His love, He will respect your choice, even though it will break His heart for eternity?
An ancient prophet spoke God's heart and said, "Can a new mother forget her nursing baby?"
 "No!" you say.
The prophet replied, "Even if that impossibility ever happened, God could never forget you."  Then the prophet spoke of his future and our past, and God stretched out his almighty arms and said,"Look, I have carved you into the palms of my hands."
We lean in and look but only see the scars left by the nails of the cross.
"This is how much I love you," God says.  "These scars are permanent just like my love for you. I went through this pain because I love you."
"Someone has lied about me. He says that no one is good enough for me. He says you have to earn my love.  But the truth is all you have to do is accept my love."
"For eternity every single human being will be in these scars. The ones who accepted my love will see their salvation and cry tears of joy as they slowly comprehend the vastness of my love for them.  They see their names, and so do I."
"But I AM God, so I see more.  I see those who rejected my love, and I cry tears of unutterable anguish because my beloved children did not want to come home.  I did every possible thing to convince them of my love, and finally because of that love, I let them go. They wanted nothing to do with me, and it will break my heart for eternity."
"When everyone gets to heaven, I will wipe away all their tears, but deep in my heart I will never stop mourning the loss of my children who only exist in my memory and my scars."

"So the next time you hear someone say, 'God loves you,' don't shake your head and believe the lies about Me.  Instead look at my scars and see what I went through to give you the chance to live with me forever, and know that no matter what you decide, I will always love you."

Life is busy for most folks.  Thus my reason for not posting.  Generally I'll try and keep my thoughts brief, but look forward to introducing you and those in your community of family and friends.   See links to follow that are worth checking into!  Sure it is a bit of a fruit salad, but enjoy the diversity!   (Hope to go into more details soon on these!)

- Just talked to a quality Dentist that is also thumbs up on a great book that has great insights as to both how Satan has distorted the Gospel- and yet shows how it is being restored to it's untainted / uncorrupted state.   Bill Chambers does a great job with "Love that Heals."   From audio books (allows you to fly through books, to ebooks, or literal books--you will not regret reading this:

Are you or I— really generous?

“You know how to give. Everyone gives something somewhere. We define our generosity by our random acts of goodness. But generosity is more than that. Generosity is the premeditated, calculated, designated emancipation of personal financial assets. When you become generous, you give more, save more, and consume less. It can free you from the Great American Insanity Cycle of spending more than we make, accumulating debt, having no financial margin, worrying about money, and spending money we don’t have in order to distract ourselves from worry.” Andy Stanley

You really owe to yourself to check this out.  You really owe it to those you love & like- to check this out.  You know down deep, you owe it everyone—including the One Who is the ultimate Maker of us all.  Let Him restore you.  HE alone can do this.  Here is practical way He can.

Glad you are thinking.  Let me know what I might want to share that is worth being thought about!

People are impressed with daring rescues!  I think this is well illustrated by this book with an unusual title:  “Oh, My God” by Paul Cinquemani CPA.  And unlike taxes, that CPA are tied to— this book is here free (in the PDF form)— or you can pay for the paper if you want a hard copy book.  (It too would be a bargain!)

We tend to here these words spoken in the negative.  Something tragic has occurred that spills these words from our lips. Paul does an artful job here in  giving both a refreshing and flowing book that makes the book not long enough!

So do everybody a favor and check this out.  It will have a positive impact on you.

Keep thinking!  Let me know what you think about this!  What might be topics or resources we both want to explore and then to share?  Eager to here as this community grows!

Practicing family medicine for over 30 yrs has definitely taught me a lot.  Seeing how people think has become a passion of mine.  And yes, it makes sure that I check under my own hood to see how my engine (mind) is doing and what I would be wise to do so as not to encourage any premature breakdowns!

Thinking is defined as follows:

think·ing

adjective

1.

using thought or rational judgment; intelligent.

"he seemed to be a thinking man"

synonyms: intelligent, sensible, reasonable, rational; More

noun

1.

the process of using one's mind to consider or reason about something.

"they have done some thinking about_____________ (you fill in blank)”

What we think about,  can be divided into two!  Sure we can sub-divide without limits beyond the time & energy it takes— but you have 2 real divisions.  Here is what come to my mind:

- Positive vs. Negative

- Helpful vs. Hurtful

- Long term vs Short term

- Right vs. Left

- Doing what is right vs. Doing what is not right

- Others as priority vs  Me focussed*

- [Perhaps some input from y’all]

The divisions are not always right vs wrong —though sometimes it is.  Wisdom will help us all avoid the 2 ditches on either side of the roads!

So keep thinking!

Share if you so desire.   Eager to pass on it on!
